Mock Promo Ad Roles: Motion Graphics Designer Made for: RP (STA) Post Production and Motion Graphics Module

For this assessment, I was tasked to create a 10 to 15 second Instagram reel promoting the "Two Better Than One" sale, using only the provided product photos. The reel should be engaging, with dynamic motion design and typography to emphasize the key message and offer. I needed to follow the tone and style given: Bold and Minimalistic - Focus on using the product photo creatively, with dynamic motion and typography to keep the ad visually interesting; Stylish and Modern - Reflect a sleek, modern vibe to match the aesthetic of the sunshades; Clear and Direct - Ensure the discount and call-to-action are immediately clear to the viewer.

This promo reel was created with Adobe After Effect. I wanted it to feel bright and fun, even with the minimalist theme of the reel. I also wanted it to be eye catching but not overwhelming, using different animations and motions.

For this assessment, I was tasked to colour correct and colour grade raw footage, and create the desired natural look, accurate skin tones, consistency in color and exposure, and warm highlights. This was one of the first projects I colour corrected.
