Our final year project is a social media campaign that supports National Heritage Board (NHB)’s SG Heritage Business Scheme. We will select two businesses (Tai Chong Kok, a traditional Cantonese pastry business, and Prince Coffee House, a Hainanese-Western fusion restaurant, hoping to showcase each business’s unique identities and place in Singapore’s heritage and culture. We aim to highlight their impact on the community, their history and legacy, and their artistry and craft - urging and encouraging viewers to explore, support and connect with these places before they’re gone. Following NHB’s aim to engender youth awareness to these businesses, we will use our perspective and understanding of youths to develop content that will appeal to young audiences, making for effective content that works.
